If you are in the music game, especially dirty rap/dance music, then you’ve seen some of Dust LaRock’s flyers. Dude has mad graphix game and I’m super jealous of his client; I’ve had a dj crush on Atrak since I was 16 and he played at a rave at 4 Bears in Detroit.

I obsessed with Marian Bantjes. I’ve had this catalog she did for Saks Fifth Avenue sitting on my desk for like 6 months. I didn’t even know that she made it until I saw it on her website. Anyway, she’s pretty much awesome and I particularly love when she makes type out of weird shit like sugar or flower petals and has it say “I want it All” mmm. True Dat Marian.

I have the blessing (and curse) of living in downtown San Francisco. I walk by the windows of Louis V and Goyard twice daily. Sometimes they are sooo dope. Here’s some photos I snapped with my camera phone, I pre-apologize for the quality.

The Louis Vuitton in downtown SF with its store windows outfitted in gold chains. I LOVE this so much. Gangsta! If only I had an extra $1,000 of expendable income.

Here’s Goyard SF done up Pop Art stylee. The bags here are so sick. I’ve never even walked in this store because I’m afraid that I might get tricked into spending my month’s salary on the white bag. It’s been calling me.

Here’s another LV window, this time with a cool metal sculpture thing that doubles as a shelf.

Adidas Deutchland has a killer website, like way better than Adidas USA. My friend Erik Von German of Office VS. Office sent this link to me. I posted some screen shots, but for the real magic, visit the site. Think 3D animated Fafi characters and kicking it with Missy Elliot. Addidas Deutchland

That’s ok though because I started my blog this week. This video is soooo FRESH and so is pretty much everything that Ed Bangers’s designer/artiste SOME touches.

I recently got back from meeting my Detroit peeps for an amazing weekend in Mexico City. (No way was I flying back to the Deets in February) In short; Adult., lots of tequila, lots of tacos, lots of puking on the plane on the way back. ¡Viva Mexico, DF! Anyway, I had a great time and I was mad feeling the signage I saw. Here’s some edits. Check out the rest on shezillaFlickr.

My boyfriend found this sweet archive of Atari Posters at an undisclosed location. He’s already uncomfortable about me posting them, because “when i came across those i felt like i uncovered some old ass rare records”. Sorry B. They look good on this page. Here’s a few of his findings.

I don’t know if you ever seen the blog Balla Dora Typo-Grafika If you haven’t, you should go look at it now because it’s pretty much the expert on all that is cool and typographic. Anyway, I happen to really like Chloe Sevigny and I thought these posters were rad. I don’t know who designed them, but props.

I found these images on Style.com. They are from the Fall 2008 Ready-To-Wear Viktor & Rolf Runway. Not only are they some of the most interesting (and strange) use of typography I’ve seen in a minute, they are also incredibly practical.00100m.jpg00050m.jpg00010m.jpg

Wee, I got my first blog. How innovative. Now I can try to be popular on the internet and have a forum for all my useless rants. Oh and my picture too.
